Board-certified Khaled Fareed, MD, welcomes new and returning patients to his relaxing office in Fountain Valley, California.
Dr. Fareed earned his medical degree from Assiut University School of Medicine in Asyut, Egypt. He continued his training in the United States, completing an internship and residency in urology and general surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
After his training, Dr. Fareed worked in the Department of Urology at the Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute, part of the prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He also practiced urology and held academic positions at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and DMG/Creighton University before moving to Orange County, California.
Dr. Fareed treats the full scope of urologic conditions but has specialty interests in robotic nerve-sparing prostatectomy, as well as numerous laparoscopic and robotic procedures, including nephrectomy, pyeloplasty, and adrenalectomy.
Patients receive exceptional care at the Urology Center of Orange County for conditions such as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), more commonly known as an enlarged prostate, erectile dysfunction, and low testosterone. Dr. Fareed frequently performs in-office vasectomies.
When treating BPH, Dr. Fareed specializes in minimally invasive procedures, including the UroLift® System, Rezūm™ Water Vapor Therapy, plasma kinetic vaporization, and several advanced laser procedures.
